Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
1.5 pounds ground turkey
2 TB breadcrumbs
2 TB onion, finely diced
2 TB fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1/2 clove garlic, finely minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
Form six patties and place on a tray covered with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
To cook*: heat a skillet or on an electric griddle to medium heat. Add a little oil. Place the patties in the hot pan and cook for a few minutes on each side until nicely browned. Check one to be sure it is cooked all the way through. Add cheese in the last 2 minutes of cooking, if desired.
Serve on a sesame seed bun with all the burger fixings.
*Note: Do not try to grill these as they will fall through a grated surface.
